Hi! I absolutely can’t wait to get my first mermaid tail, but ah! So many choices…I have:
• Light brown hair with gold/honey streaks
• Brown, gold, and green eyes
• Average height, somewhat skinny
So…what should I get? I considered Article Blue for awhile, and I love Diamond shimmer, but it isn’t as realistic as the other mermaiden tails…any suggestions?

I think you would look great in Golden Scale, Midnight Reef, and Ariel Green. The Golden Scale and Midnight Reef will look very realistic on you. Same with the Ariel Green will bring out your eyes, too.

I’m trying to decide between Malibu pink and Aussie green all day. They both look amazing and super realistic, but I still cannot decide. Which one would look best on me. I have:
dark brown hair
green eyes
round face

I’d very much like to purchase the Asia Magenta mermaid tail with a monofin. It’s absolutely gorgeous! Although, my mother is concerned about my legs being bound together along with the monofin and would rather buy me a floppy tail, which kind of ruins the magic for me! By experienced swimmer, what exactly do you mean?

Watch our videos to see how the tail and monofin work together. We demonstrate how easy it is to slip the monofin off if you need to free your feet. The monofin also provides a lot of propulsion which makes swimming in the tail much easier.
Do any of our other FinFriends have any advice for Cayenne?

I found the videos quite helpful! Although, I’m still not quite sure what an “experienced swimmer” is. Like, how would you define an experienced swimmer?

An experienced swimmer is somebody who can do most strokes and swim with ease.

What kind of stories do people send in? Like, are they about the Mermaidens, or if they were a mermaid etc,etc,etc.

Tell your mom not to worry. As long as you can swim in deep water with out drowning you should be fine. It was SOO easy to learn to swim in my tail, and since then I have quickly learned every stroke I know of that you do with your legs together. I have a little sister who can swim in her tail easily.

Hey Fin Friends! I’m Abby and I live in Paris, France and I’m on vacation in California. I came across this website in March and have desperately wanted a mermaid tail. I have long brown hair with blonde tips, green/brown eyes and I’m pretty skinny. Wich mermaid tail color do you guys think I should get? I originally wanted Zoey’s Aussie Green but can anyone give my a better idea? Thanks in advance!! Gros Bisous!! (P.S. Does anyone know where to find a good teal tankini swim top by any chance?)

Hi Abby! I look pretty much like you and got the purple (non mermaidens) and I look fabulous! I’m getting a mermaidens soon and Aussie Green or Crysatal Blue are the best for brunettes with golden/blonde highlights. So I suggest the non mermaidens purple, Aussie green, or crystal blue.

You might look good in the Golden Scale, or Ariel Green. I would also recommend Midnight Reef and Purple Sky.

I just got the Arctic Blue… I love it! SOOOO much prettier than the pictures, I just ordered a new mono fin insert, because the other one snapped, but fin fun sent me one free of charge!!! I was just wondering if there is a way to prevent that frizziness on the bottom of the tail from where it touches the ground. Maybe clear nail polish or something?

One thing you can do to make the fuzziness less noticeable is to get a Sharpie (permanent marker) in a matching color of your tail and lightly color the white fuzzies. It makes them disappear!

Im hoping to get a tail for a Halloween costume/X-mas present (that’s how much I want it!) but I can’t decide between Aussie Green and Arctic Blue. I actually have a hair wrap thingie, no lie, like the Mermaidens… and mine has a little white shell at the bottom too! It’s color could best be described as a mix of Crystal’s and Zoey’s. I took the quiz and got Crystal, but I was also really close to Zoey. I have dirty blonde hair with a short blonde piece at the front,and stormy-grey-blue-green eyes. I love animals,but ice is amazing.I can just see myself on Halloween walking into school like the mermaid version of Elsa!(I don’t like the movie insanely, but she’s cool) I would consider myself smart, funny, and a good leader. When somebody strikes, I strike back. Please help!

What color are your eyes? If blue, Malibu Pink or Asian Magenta.If green, Aussie Green.If brown maybe midnight reef. Diamond Shimmer works all-around.

if i were you i would definitely get asian magenta because that`s closest to pink and it matches her eyes. if you don`t know wich size to get go to the size chart wich is next to the tail when you go to order. i am also getting asian magenta so we`ll both be trying a new color. hope this helps and happy birthday to your daughter!

hi fin fun! my grandma was wondering why she hasn`t gotten a email saying my tail has been shipped. i ordered a asian magenta tail with a pro mono fin on the 25 friday evening. it`s been four day not counting the weekends. your website says 72 hours. your a day behind with processing. i understand the popularity of your tails but if you can`t ship something within what your site said i dont`t like that. i`m not mad just a little concerened. i don`t want it to be lost or something. please respond to eiether the email wich is under kathy r. or this. i find it faster to just type on the blog than email. so just respond to either
